Would you like to potentially be included in a published book? I am working on a project and I need retro photos.
If you want to be included in this work, here's what I'm looking for:
-Authentic photos of you, your siblings, your friends and family from the 80's/early 90's that show you WITH your old, classic, awesome toys from your childhood.
We are looking to gather at least 2500 photos. The pictures can show you playing with the toys, opening them on Birthday/Xmas/whatever holiday, posed shots, candid shots, you name it. Toys MUST be included in the photo with YOU. He-man, She-Ra, Thundercats, Rainbow Brite, Skip-it, Ghostbusters, Jem, Easy Bake Oven, Lazer Tag, Big Wheel, Colorforms, Candyland, Mouse Trap.... Whatever!!
IMPORTANT - The pictures MUST be authentic from the 80's/early 90's. No pictures of you from two years ago with that great yardsale or eBay find. While that's awesome, it won't fit the theme. Sorry. Also, remember, we're not looking for photos of just toys. We need photos of you WITH your toys!
So, if you can dig up some old pictures that meet this criteria and want to be considered for inclusion, follow these steps:
-Scan the photo(s) at the highest resolution possible.
-Email the photo AND the following information:
1. Your name
2. Names/approximate ages of all people in photo
3. Approximate year photo was taken
4. What toy(s) are being showcased in photo
5. Best memory of these toy(s)

*Original, high quality scans must be sent via email. No links or posts to Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, etc.*
Feel free to send more than one photo. The more the better. And please, forward this to all your friends. The current goal is 2500 photos! Any questions can be directed to the same email above.
If you don't have a scanner, but still want to submit a photo, you can snail-mail it. Send an email requesting details.
This timeline for this project is currently open-ended and depends a lot on how long it takes to collect enough photos. We would like to meet the goal by the end of the year, but realize the deadline could be fluid.

If the photo(s) you submit includes people other than yourself, make sure you have their permission.
By submitting the photo(s), you are giving permission to use them free of charge. No compensation in any form other than a Named Credit will be provided in return.
Credit will be given only to those who have their pictures chosen for inclusion.
Not all pictures submitted will be used.
Information received, including email addresses, names, etc. will NOT be used for any third party marketing purposes. Privacy matters. Spam is bad.
